A deer got into a slippery situation earlier in December after getting stuck on a frozen lake at the Woodland's Golf course in Sunriver, Oregon.
Possibly trying to recreate the famous scene from Disney's Bambi, it was struggling to get to its feet on the frozen water and was clearly in distress.
Luckily, help was on the way; a firefighting team sent out one of its members with a piece of special equipment called an ice rescue sled, which let the man safely reach the deer without without breaking the ice.
The groove in the front of the craft was the perfect fit for the intrepid ice skater, who was then gently pushed to shore.
