A Race Against Time

Emir, a vet technician, sprang into action upon seeing the mother dog outside. Initially, the situation seemed hopeless. "At first, it wasn’t clear if the puppy was alive," recalled Dr. Baturalp Dogan, the veterinarian at the clinic. "The pup was cold as ice."

Emir and Dr. Dogan quickly examined the puppy, discovering a faint heartbeat. "When I checked it with a needle, we noticed a very slow heartbeat. That’s why I said, 'It’s a hope, maybe he’ll live,' and we started the fight," Dogan said.

Miraculous Revival

The team administered an adrenaline shot and used a hair dryer to warm the puppy. Meanwhile, "Mom" watched intently from the counter, showing concern for her newborn. Against the odds, the puppy’s condition improved. Dr. Dogan revealed that the pup, along with another male brought in earlier that day, were the only survivors of a six-puppy litter.

"They are doing very well right now," said Dr. Dogan. "This is a process, but I think they will get better day by day."
